About me
Caitlin Houghton is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist delivering mobile therapy services in Brisbane. Caitlin is passionate about delivering Speech Pathology services that help individuals to GROW to their potential. With 7 years of experience working with a wide range of children and adults in education, disability and healthcare.​ Caitlin is passionate about equitable healthcare, high quality and safe care. Caitlin enjoys working through all areas of practice and describes herself as a generalist practitioner. She has special interests in working with adults through AAC implementation, mental health, dysphagia management and Parkinson's voice treatments (LSVT Loud).

Caitlin is passionate about the redesign of healthcare systems and services that supports communities. She has masters' degrees in Public Health (Primary Health Care) and Health Management. She is interested in sustainability, equality and access in healthcare, particularly for First Nations peoples. Caitlin has presented at the National Rural Health Conference (2022), The NSW RDN Rural Health Conference (2021) about the Rural Generalist Pathway in Allied Health.
When Caitlin is not at work she enjoys spending time with her dogs Nala and Mei Mei. Caitlin enjoys playing piano, going on bushwalks and learning to cook.
