About me
Natasha is a Speech Pathologist with five years of clinical experience, delivering speech and language therapy to children, families and to community. Graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), Natasha has a passion for building on children’s strengths to enable them to develop to their full potential. For the past five years, she has worked with a wide range of children (from early childhood to primary/secondary schooling) to deliver support through assessments, functional goal setting, speech/articulation therapy, and receptive and expressive language therapy. Natasha is passionate about empowering children to express their wants and needs, enabling them to have access to mental health support through the development of a child’s communication skills. She has particular interests in delivering interventions for Childhood Apraxia of Speech; developing supports for children with Foetal alcohol spectrum disorders, building personal narrative skills to support children’s mental health, and AAC implementation. Natasha also has experience providing clinical education and supervision to student speech pathologists. Natasha loves to paint in her free time and spends most of her time outdoors. She is an animal lover and would love to create her own veggie patch and an outdoor aquascape for her turtle one day.
